T: To practice phonics, for words with alternative spelling patterns

I have put links below to the Phonics Play website (www.phonicsplay.co.uk) for games and activities for phonics.

The site is free at the moment for home learning, but you may need to login.

You can login with the following details:

We have been working on phase 5, but you can choose to go on phase 3 or 4 or 5 activities and games.

Search through the games to find the sounds which you need to practice. 

Support - go to phase 3 or 4 and practice your sounds using the blending games.   

Challenge - Go back and look at the words you have been learning this week. Practise reading and then spelling some of them using look, say, cover, write and check.

Lesson 5 : To make informed predictions

In this lesson, we will use our reading detective skills to make informed predictions based on what we have read so far in a text.

Write today's date and lesson title at the top of your written work.
