Our India Link - Years 2 and 4 Learn About India

March 2007

As a result of our India link, both Year 2 and Year 4 study India as their topic in the Spring Term. They learn about Indian music, culture, food and history, as well as similarities and differences between life in England and India.

Year 4 perform their Swan dance at the school dance festival 2006, whilst St Stephens' children in India perform the same dance on the screen behind them.

As part of their India topic in 2007, Year 4 performed an assembly in full Indian dress (brought back from India by our visiting teachers) about our partner school St Stephen’s, finishing with an impressive Bollywood-style dance.
