Special Events - World Book Day 2007

On Thursday 1st March 2007 we celebrated World Book Day. All pupils brought their favourite books into school and enjoyed creating class anthologies, fact-files about their favourite characters, story telling and lots of other activities.

There was an assembly where teachers shared their favourite authors and books with the children, and Mr Dickinson read a story to an eager audience.

All involved had a fun day in which they learnt about different types of books and the both the enjoyment and education benefit of reading.
