Special Events - Sandwell Action Squad Training Day
On Wednesday 14th June Years 5 and 6 went on a trip to Tividale Community centre to take part
in an S.A.S (Sandwell Action Squad) training day.
Pupils (and teachers!) were put into real-life situations
run by West Midlands Fire Service and Police Force.
Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day and learnt all about
fire and road safety. Activities included dealing with strangers and escaping from a smoke-filled room.
In the photographs you can see pupils escaping from a smoke filled room, the police talking
to pupils about road safety and
crime, and pupils dealing with a stranger.

Our pupils achieved the highest score over the two weeks that the SAS course ran and were presented
with an award by Mrs Morgan.
