Special Events - Oldbury Pancake Race

On Shrove Tuesday (5 Feb 2008) our school hosted Oldbury's annual Pancake Race.

Teams from all around Olbury entered, including teams from Christchurch school and parish, English Martyrs parish and the Co-op Funeral Directors.

All 10 teams raced, flipping their pancakes as they ran, until finally the team from English Martyrs was victorious and claimed their winning trophy and medals.

After the races everyone enjoyed refreshments and pancakes at the school canteen. Thank you to everyone who helped to organise the event this year.
