Special Events - Teaching Awards

This year our school and our Headteacher Mrs Simmons were nominated for prestigious teaching awards. St Francis Xavier School was nominated for our work on sustainability, and Mrs Simmons was nominated for her outstanding work as a Headteacher.

At the regional awards ceremony on Friday 27th June 2008, Mrs Simmons was awarded a distinction, recognising how she has lead and helped St Francis Xavier School develop over the past 10 years.
